Paula is an advocate of holistic health work with dogs. She received her Level 1 certificate from La Paw Spa's Heart of Canine Water Therapy. Paula also utilizes Integrative Manual Therapy (taken courses from Center IMT) and TellingtonTouch. She keeps her own athletic dogs in top-notch condition with these modalities, as well as lots of swimming. Paula has fed raw meat diets for 14 years.
Paula knows dogs. She graduated from the Carolina K-9 Command Dogs instructor program in 1976. Paula instructs and consults in pet dog manners, competition obedience, agility, conformation, flyball, tracking, behavioral issues, watersports, and conditioning for dog sports. She has competed, along with her dogs, in agility, obedience, conformation, freestyle, flyball & tracking.
Paula shares her life with two spirited and beloved Belgian Tervurens: Trevor and Riggs.
