The Association of Canine Water Therapy (ACWT) was founded in 1995 by Cindy Horsfall – as an effort to create a neutral body of support for all those who work in this field of canine health care.
Mission Statement:
The Association of Canine Water Therapy is dedicated to advancing the safe practices of canine water therapy through education, establishing industry standards and building a network of support.

As of January 1st, 2010, with ACWT membership consisting of over 150 members around the world, was handed over to the International Association of Animal Body work and Massage as a move for continued growth and support. See www.iaamb.org
