Measuring 4″ X 17″, the patented Water Wubba is a very unique dog toy. The top part is a tennis ball and the middle is a pliable rubber ball (no squeaker in the water version). The covering is neoprene (wet-suit material) with bindings under each ball ending in 4 “legs” like an octopus making it easy for another dog to grab for tug of war.
The Water Wubba is designed to be easy to see and to dry fast. It excels at water and snow play and is available in a mix of lemon, lime and orange.
Brodie’s Rating: When I first spotted this toy in the store, I had to have it. What a fun design. On my way to the cash register, the store owner’s dog was chewing on a Water Wubba and it wasn’t doing too well. A few holes after only a short while. So, I knew right away that this would not be a good chew toy. It took Brodie a little while to realize he could grab the legs rather than try and get the big ball in his mouth but once he got the hang of it, he really enjoyed it. It was bright enough for him to spot in the water and it didn’t get real heavy during Brodie’s swim session. From other online reviews, the non-water Wubba toys hold up better to chewing. Definitely a fun and original toy!
